We are proud to announce that Amateur Radio Emergency Service of Brevard, Inc., also known as Brevard County ARES Team (BCAT), has been awarded the prestigious ‘Platinum Seal of Transparency’ by Candid, formerly Guidestar. This esteemed recognition is the highest level of transparency rating, acknowledging our organization’s commitment to accountability and openness.
As a 501(c)(3) Public Charity, EIN 86-1336086, we are dedicated to serving Brevard County communities in collaboration with local and state entities, as well as served agencies. Our team of National Incident Management System and Amateur Radio Relay League trained volunteers, equipped with necessary communication equipment, provides professional auxiliary communications utilizing Amateur Radio in emergency situations and supports community events upon request.
Candid, a nonprofit organization, evaluates and provides information on nonprofits, including their financial data and leadership. The Platinum Seal of Transparency is the highest level of recognition, requiring the sharing of detailed financial information and leadership data. We are honored to have achieved this distinction, demonstrating our commitment to transparency and accountability.
